Featuring a custom-designed AMT (Air Motion Transfer) tweeter, the R80 V2 delivers wave cycle-accurate transient reproduction, clearly defining each instrument in your mix. The AMT's 0.01mm Kapton® membrane allows the R80 V2 to produce audio with stunningly accurate air, space, and dimensionality. A unique tweeter housing creates a wide vertical sweet spot that inherently minimizes reflections off of your desk, ceiling, and floor. This design helps remove the room from your mix and makes the R80 V2 consistently accurate, even in different listening environments.

The 8" low-frequency driver is powered by a dedicated 75-watt Class A/B amp that provides all the headroom and distortion-free low end you'll need, even at high volumes. The woofer's rigid, custom-woven composite cone yields a consistently flat response resulting in mixes that translate well to any system.

The R80 V2 comes with low, mid, and high frequency tuning controls, giving you the ability to tune the monitors for specific placement. Plus, you can connect the R80 V2 to virtually any source thanks to XLR, 1/4 TRS, and RCA inputs. Bluetooth connectivity is also available with the MicroStation BT (sold separately).
